Japan ex-porn star dies from lungs infection Japan police confirmed the cause of death of Japanese ex-porn actress Ai Iijima to be lungs infection. She was found dead at home last Christmas Eve in her home and was believed to have been dead for over a week. Police announced on Wednesday that Iijima died from lungs infection and not suicide. The cause of death was determined by the Tokyo Inspection Medical Affairs Department when they investigated into her medical history. The officer-in-charge revealed that the sleeping pills found in Iijima's home were cold medication prescribed by doctor and had no relation to her death.
