Janice Disregards Criticism, Hins to Hold Concert @ HK Coliseum Many newcomer singers attended a press conference yesterday with female singers dressed sexily to steal the spotlight. Janice Vidal, who attracted the most attention, disregarded comments about her not worthy to make it into Madame Tussauds and only expressed that she is worried about being too fat when having her body measured. Yesterday 30 newcomer singers, including Jason Chan, Casey Tse, Freeze, Sun Boy’z, CK, Rednoon, Hiromi, Ling Ling Zhu (朱凌凌), Ken Hung, Venus Chung, Sherman Chung and Elanne Wong attended the Solar Project Press Conference as ‘solar boys and girls’. Despite there being many people, there was no big star and so, Janice Vidal stood out from the rest. While Venus Chung, CK and Sherman Chung wore mini shorts, hoping to attract the camera, Freeze’s Alley Chan was most successful as she showed of her tattoo on her lower back. When reporters voted for ‘Highest UV Ray Solar Ambassador’, Jason Chan, Sun Boy’z and Elanne Wong rose above the rest. Wearing a mini skirt and 12cm stilettos, Janice expressed that she was unaware of the criticism she has been receiving over her wax figure being made for Madame Tussauds. She then asked her assistant about this, who explained that Janice was given the chance when she won a public vote. Janice commented, “I am very happy to know that I won a poll! (People have criticized you by saying that you are unworthy) It does not matter, I cannot control what other people think. The only thing I am worried about is that I might be fatter than I am now when I am measured. I would have finished a concert by that time, so I would be really easy on myself.” On the other hand, Hins Cheung disclosed that he has booked for a time to hold a concert at Hong Kong Coliseum.
