well is the stats from what the received, if the 1st person is from the other music companies, but they are not attending then the 2nd runner up gets it... so you all who dislike tvb's act of not paying the $12 millition royalty fee to the music companies, then stop watching anything that is from TVB channels -cool the keyword here is "revenue" not "profit" if anyone of you operate a company and you have 20 million in revenue but your actual figures in profit is 15 million, so a profit of 5 million, will you agree in paying 12 million in royalty fee?

music & TV = different, imo (TVB occupied 84min of my daily life, no way xD) doesnt matter lam fung is hot or not, or he's TVB, just BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dont think u deserved the award lam fung, ure just lucky
wow thats it? i guess u watch an ep a day...tvb take about 8 hrs a day for 2 days (weekends) when the drama finishes airing...i like to watch them all at once, and usually about 10 episodes a day, finish in 2 days -sweat
they had to give lam fung something huge since TVB is really pushing him and bringing him out so i kinda expected. i do agree that there are others that shhould have gotten that award.....there were other awards that were also questionable but whatever.....this wasnt even really a music awards without everyone

This is probably the worst awards show given. Because of copyright issues between TVB and some of the record companies, many singers' songs could not be broadcasted on TVB - This included Universal Music (Cinepoly) and Sony BMG Music. So singers like Eason Chan, Kay Tse, Mr. and Jason Chan could not get awards even though they deserved them. Instead these awards are given to EEG singers instead - William Chan, Joey Yung, Leo Ku, Charlene Choi, Raymond Lam, Sherman Chung. I'm not saying they don't deserve the awards but come on, it's obvious that half of the awards have been given to EEG singers. Even if songs could not be broadcasted, at least they could give awards to singers who genuinely deserve it such as Eason Chan or Jason Chan.
I must say I'm quite shocked that Joey got two songs. I love Joey and I am really happy for her but to win 2 song awards and 5 other awards is quite a shock. I do agree that Ivana should have got one of the songs. The Raymond Lam controversy. Yes I do believe he doesn't deserve this award but come on who else could they give it to? Leo Ku? Chilam Cheung? Justin Lo? In fact TVB seems to have been more logical this time and actually presented the award to someone who is actually known in areas considered Asia Pacific. But yes if Eason was here he should have got it. Kate Tsui getting Best Newcomer - yes quite a shock. Does anyone actually like Hinson Chow, he seems to have been blanked by all the awards.
