Jackie Chan, Jet Li's First Film Together

    Jackie Chan (成龍) and Jet Li (李連杰) took part in a press conference in Beijing today for their upcoming film The Forbidden Kingdom <功夫之王>.

    Despite it being the first time the two biggest kung fu stars in the world have worked on the same film together, they told the 300 members of the press gathered that they had got on very well.

    However, Jet said that it would probably be the last time the two would collaborate.

    Instead, he revealed, he would like next time to work with Jackie's son Jaycee Chan (房祖名), who he met when he visited Jackie's home.

    Jet told reporters: "Jaycee is a very upstanding young man. I think we could work together to great effect. I think his mum taught him well."

    Jackie, who was an absent father for much of Jaycee's childhood, looked uncomfortable with Jet's comments.

    Jackie congratulated Jet for winning Best Actor at the Hong Kong Film Awards last Sunday.

    Jackie said: "I called him straight away when I got off the plane to congratulate him."

    He joked: "He's managed to win after only a couple of nominations. I've been nominated so many times but have still not won. I'm envious!"

    The Forbidden Kingdom, directed by Rob Minkoff, is released in Singapore Thursday, in the US Friday, in Hong Kong 24 April and in the UK 11 July.

    this one i really want to see the two biggest action star in the world is making the first movie ever and probably last co-operation with this two, so every one should really watch this one or u u will regret it for the rest of your life

    yeah , i must agree this movie rocks, just saw the trailer and i hope it's come out fast , cuz can't wait any longer
    This movie is the movie of the year :D

    like the movie, but ihated the part with the white kid come to play. too predictable

    i downloaded and watch this few days ago its not that impressive. the only thing thats worth watching is the fight between the two the rest of the film is very boring
