My boyfriend recently purchased this Ipod, but there seems to be a problem. There are a few tracks in the ipod that plays for about 2 seconds or so and then skips to the next song. He thought it could be the song so he took off the version from the Itunes library and imported one from his CD and still occurred. Today he went and got an exchange and thought maybe it could have been the ipod, however the same thing happened with the one he just got. Does anyone know why is this happening?

you might have a corrupt itunes library also. the way to fix that is if you erase the ituns files in your my music folder

I have the same ipod. Had the same problem with some songs so I permanantly deleted the bad mp3 files from itunes library and put in new files of the same songs. The song(s) played properly afterwards. Just a minor software glitch.

well it certainly doesn't seem like a problem with the ipod itself, perhaps the software program on ur comp.
