Hi! Everyone, my name is Ka Hong and I'm a 17 year old male and I wanna gain weight. I'm 5'2" and weigh 1 stone... I'm THIN!!! Its so depressing, I try to eat everything.. I stuff myself till I'm completely full... but then I just end up throwing up the food from eating too much. I'm disgusted with my body.. only kind of exercise I do is play on my Xbox 360... lol well if this is supposed to be serious... The best way to gain weight without caring about where it goes is to eat whatever you see. If you're looking to bulk up evenly though, without everything going into your man breasts and gut is to weight lift + protein shakes. Im not a fan of this method though, i prefer to be toned so i stay away from the high protein supplements. But If you are just lookin to bulk up, id say a high protein diet, with some weights and cardio would be a good start
hey, ok.. i take it that u didnt mean it that way. Anyway, the numbers of fat cells after puberty are already fixed and so therefore they bulge and shrink but do not increase. A person's body weight tends to range within 10% of a set value. Weight alterations in either direction cause changes in energy expenditure that favor a return to the set-point, which helps explain the persistent problem of the “yo-yo effect” following attempted weight loss. (info from emirates hospital) And i suppose its the same for attempted weight gain. The pt is.. the amount of fat cells are kinda fixed at our age. Hence, eating a lot and not exercising will not help gain much weight. The cells expand when you gain fats. But theres a limit. Hence, if you really wanna gain weight, the best way is to build muscles. Go gyming or sth.. thats the fastest way. And gaining muscles is definitely more healthy than getting fat.
