im so happy...but then my marks r terrible compared to mid terms..failed all my exaams but still pass everything..=) 51 50 58 65 61 61 wat do u ppl think of these marks? lol i hope college still accepts me..no more high skoool...and im doin virtual skool..so much to do...oh ya...my calculas mark i got 45 but the teacher was so nice and gave me 50...im so happy today

well...from what i hear, canada's standards are lower than the US 65 may be a D to us, where it's a C to them... Well, that's just what i heard from my brother who's applying for college in toronto.
Yeah. It's actually the same in college. A "C" (70%) is considered passing. Anything below that...good luck in summer school. lol
in hs, even a D is passing. cuz hs except any letter grades besides a F. aww.. how come you got through calculus, i didn't even pass my calculus in hs... :( the only math class that i've goten so far was passed Alg.II, which is after Geometry. -cry2 you made me feel bad now... *cries*
lol..its ok dont cry...but isn't geometry harder than calculas? well in calc i had 76 then whe derivatives cam i just got killed..i can sleep throughout the class since its a morning class and miss a lesson..i don't even do my calc work..its too hard..math is so boring...i used to b so pro..before gr10...skool sux
You serious? At my school, there exists no such grade as a "D". Either you pass the class with a "C" or above, or you receive an "F" and fail. :( And thank God I've already taken and passed Calc my junior year in HS. So that means I won't have to take any math classes next year. Woohooo!!! I guess all the summer schooling paid off after all Thanks, mom! lol And NO WAY is geometry harder than Calc! Otherwise it wouldn't be my favorite math subject. Geometry was the only math class that I managed to pass with 100%. No kid. I didn't do so well in Alg. though. And I just noticed that the thread topic reads "I PASEED all my courses". ahahah How are you doing in English, kdotc? -lol j/k But congrats on passing!
no, in my HS calculus is way higher than Geometry, it's Alg.I, Geom. then Alg.II then finally Calculus and other higher crap. And i failed going higher, tell u the truth, i suck at high level math. until when i was in Junior, then my math skills starting to decrease cuz of Alg.II, but i still pass. then Calculus...... it just destroyed my grade! Seriously? my school has all letter grades, ABCDF... damn, how do you guys get so smart in these types of things. i remember that the higher my grade went, the sorrier my brain is receiving from math studies. NO WAY!!!! 100% in Geometry, haha.. I've only had like 92-95% or something. wow... to me, Alg. is like the easiest math ever! Geom. is abit hard though. but calculus... i just can't face. I tried 2 times and fail. that shows how a really unsophisticated person i am. >.< and i was about to go there the 3rd time too, but then i failed my 1st sem. and then i decided to change my class. cuz it's just a waste of time!
lol Trust me... I just got lucky. I was fortunate enough to have the best geometry teacher in the school. Everything he taught was so easy to understand. And I like shapes and angles more than numbers, so it was a piece a cake for me. Algebra on the otherhand -dead I got a 91% in that class. And that was after doing extra credit work and bootlicking the teacher. What I've noticed is that most people who are good with Alg. are not so good with Geom. It goes the same both ways. You either like one or the other. I've yet to run into anyone who enjoys both (that is with the exception of several math lovers). And a 92-95 percentile is VERY good! You should be proud of yourself!
