I just received my hp laptop, and there is a label written in Chinese saying that the base is scratched. I bought it off the official Canadian hp website(http://h20386.www2.hp.com/CanadaStore/Merch/List.aspx?sel=PCNB), and purchased it as a new product. I haven't open the package yet, but I didn't see any scratches on the base either.

I spoke with the customer service online, and they are telling me to call this phone number for further assistance. I think it's a long distance number. Damn Chinese products! lol

I think I should just open it. :p
The website lied to me. It says it's a touchscreen laptop, but it's not!!!!!!
I'll write more about it later. I'm screen recording a conversation with the customer service.

I contacted HP. I was able to get a refund, and the company offered to pay for the refund shipping.
Now, I just found out on their website, they removed the line "Special features: Touch Display" under the technical details for the laptop. lol
