How to get rid of Freckles and small flat moles Are there any treatment for getting rid of small flat moles permanently. i don't like fade creams because they make your whole skin white and you can't have your normal skin colour and you would always have to apply it, which is anoying.. So does anyone know anything to get rid off them for good?
Laser... Works very effectively... My sister use have a lot but after the laser treatment, is barely visable. However, it will have the mark for like couple of days (the healing process).
Laser for quick work, but if you want your freckles to go away naturally, hard work ensues: Eat oatmeal everyday for breakfast, make it with milk. It tones down the freckles and eventually restores the normal skin colour. While you are at it, you are heading towards fairer and smoother skin too! But yeah, beauty comes with much hard work...
^Who? Me? No no. But strangely, I never consciously used most of the remedies I talk about =_=b I ate oatmeal when I was young, but stopped and move onto milk and bread around the time when I reach high school Now I eat oatmeal once in a while when I feel like semi-liquid food.
Yeah, laser treatment is probably your best bet. My sister got that done, but make sure you go to a good place, the beauty place that my sister went to didn't exactly aim very good and missed a few freckles and if the aim is not precise, the freckle will come back. And yes, you will get burnt scars for a few days. Creams don't work very well, my sister tried a small tube of Chanel roll-on cream for $120 and that didn't work that great, and these are light freckles that she has.
Just like everyone says: Laser Freckles are a pigmentation of the skin. You can use creams which can lighten the area but that's temporary. Laser would remove layers of the epidermis of where the pigmentation is.
Just because I am not a huge fan of "cosmetic procedures"... thus the oatmeals still a staple in my kitchen
They are cute when you can control how much you have... and it's annoying when they darkens (they DO, so get rid of them before they are staying for good)
yep. I had a friend that did that...she looks better now...but it ain;t freckles, but the "black" dots some asians have.
^ Moles they are called. And if they get big or grow in size or feels bumpy, go see a dermatologist, it could be an indicator of skin cancer.
Hmm are you sure eating oatmeal gets rid of the freckles? but i wonder how that works.. Haha eating oatmeal gives you smoother skin as well but thats ok because i already have smooth skin but i just have those brown/black spots ( like a dots) ;[ oh well thank you for your idea
don't really know since I ve never been to one. I guess you could start off with the school nurse and ask her about this type of specialty. They usually know, if not, with a doctor. I wouldn't jump and decide right away to get it done though just cause ppl on the net tells u. I would ask the medical specialists (doctors, nurse, etc) and even try to talk to their patients with similar problem if possible.
@sweetbery: If you are talking about "moles" which can happen EVERYWHERE on your body, dark brown to black in colour, don't usually come in splatters, those are "moles" and laser's the only way to go. But if you are talking about freckles on face (Asians generally don't have freckles on the body), just a tone or two darker than skin colour, those can be helped by oatmeals. But it will take FOREVER, plus you can't just eat those convenient pack where you can just nuke it with milk. The type that REQUIRES boiling in milk (and beware of burnt milk!) helps the best, and it takes an awful long time, around nine months to a year's time, but it won't come back ever (as long as you keep eating) since you change your diet habit and in turn your colour pigment distrubution in skin. Whereas laser is a one-off thing that may have you going back every time you got some back... =_=b
