Hong Kong or Tawain Dramas?

    Which dramas do you prefer more? Hong Kong or Tawain dramas?
    I personally prefer Tawain dramas over Hong Kong dramas.
    So what do you guys think?:)

    HK drama is starting to get bored, don't you guys think so? I've been watching more taiwanese drama lately.

    Yeah, lately it seems Hk dramas don't have the good actors anymore since they all left. I've been watching mainland china/taiwan dramas more.

    watching both hk and taiwan at the moment with the wife and i gotta say taiwan isn't afraid to spend the money to make a good production and if you want sad ones taiwan has the better ones. startiing to prefer taiwan ones now. but everyone now and then TVB has a good one. right now it's when heaven burns. i like that one. but overall taiwan takes the cake for best dramas.

    ^ agreed, i think that taiwanese dramas generally do have the bigger budget. as far as HK or taiwan, definitely taiwan when it comes to romance (which i believe is the bulk of taiwanese dramas?), but HK and TVB for just about everything else!

    I watch HK dramas more because I can understand it and I dont really watch Tawainese dramas because I dont like to read subtitles. But I do admitt that HK dramas are starting to not be as great as they use to be

    I like HK Drama's more, because each drama has a family feel and the most of the drama's are based on reality so I can watch them with my family. The actors and actresses are over-acting in the drama's, because their reactions and moves are "kwa cheung" (I don't know how to type it in English).

    HK dramas!! I found tw dramas a bit too cheesy, HK has a bigger variety, though this year's dramas were kinda crappy.

    I prefer Hk drama than Taiwain cause most of them are based on reality in real life and I like Hk actor/actress too

    Another vote for Hong Kong drama. Taiwanese actors and actresses overreact on emotional scenes. However mainlanders take the cake.

    tho i'm bias, i gotta give props to the taiwanese dramas...It's definitely better than TVBs' nowadays...but it wouldnt even touch the TVB dramas in the 70s 80s and the 90s during the golden eras..
