Hey guys. Looking for advice on current trends in HK. especially with guys suits and formal wear. things such as suit styles, tie color / or no tie, 2 piece 3 piece? and such.. thanks
from experience of seeing Hongers at my school... girls: colourful clothing. skirts with leggings (i guess thats a trend for everything now..), Converse shoes, etc. guys: Bape sweaters, Converse shoes, Nike shoes, dyed hair,... but then again people always say these are Honger posers, and that people in Hong Kong don't really dress like this. haha
just make sure ur suit is well-fitted. wear dark socks. solid ties if u wanna go really formal. if u wanna go less formal add tshirts and converse. wear wutever u think looks good. experiment with the stuff u have in ur closet. but no bright pretty colors plez.
Like any other fashion style, the first and foremost is comfort. Recently, the suit trend had been ultra-fitted, though it is not really for practical day-to-day use, but do wear a 3-button with skinny dress pants and skinny ties (preferably black) at the ready to look smart. Think Franz Ferdinand.
