Saturday July 13, 2008 Hong Kong Hins Cheung (張敬軒) attracted quite a crowd at the Tsimshatsui branch of HMV yesterday, taking part in an autograph signing session for his latest album Urban Emotions. Many fans had queued since the early hours of the morning to catch a glimpse of the young singer and at one point had caused some congestion in the area as they waited for Hins. Seeing the extent of his popularity, Hins was quite taken aback and said that this was his first official autograph event in Hong Kong and he had been worried that the bad weather would keep the people away, so he was very pleased to see so many fans showing their support. Hins revealed that the new album will continue the R&B music style of his last album Ardently Love <酷愛> and he has invited many music makers to assist his aim to create a multi-faceted image. He added that some of the songs will also reflect his feelings after five years of living and working in Hong Kong. Hins expressed that he has high hopes for his new album and hoped that sales will exceed those of his recent compilation album. As a result, he pledged to attend more promotional events to push record sales. He laughed that his mother has been helping by ordering 420 copies for their family and friends, but this has made him very busy because he has had to autograph them all before he hands them out. credits: batgwa.
