i have dead straight hair and with the extreme cold outside and then heat indoors, it is giving me crazy static hair. my hair actually shocked me this morning! i went out and bought that pantene winter care stuff but it doesn't seem to be working. if anything, it's just making my hair limp at the top and the static is still there. anyone know anything i could do to make it stop??? plz help!

Put some hair serum in your hair, when it's less dry and slightly heavier, the static shouldn't be too bad. Also, if you happen to like wearing turtle neck or other cardigan/sweater/fleece type tops (all static-prone), it gets kind of problematic -- the static were already in your hair when you get dressed, only the change in temperature "activated" them to make your hair fly... so either avoid those clothes or dampens your hair a bit with serum or other light (but not weightless) hair products.

PS> I assumed that your hair is naturally "dead straight" and not ionized straightened, since THAT would be an entirely different story.

i have no idea what to do too, because it happens to me too. But then i usually wet my hair, but then it wears off very quickly. I don't believe in the products because i don't think they would work

Wash 5 times ur hair with shampoo xD
Well i got the same hair hard like grass.
But I usually wash my hair in the morning then style it with WAX.
    It looks very cool ;)
Best thing to do is asking people from the hair salon.
I heard that u can cut ur hair thiner in the hair salon.
I always wanted that japanes hairstyle ^-^

A Pic would be helpfull ^^

  12. if you rub a piece of fabric softener on your hair, it takes away the static instantly!

    OMG
i JUST started having this problem
like it's never been this bad before
at school, some kid literally came up to me and asked "woa ur hair's crazy tday"
anyway i just changed my conditioner from herbal essences to pantene pro-v, which actually made my hair feel all smooth and soft in the shower hehehe
and today i didn't seem to have this problem, or at least not enough to notice
