if you use WinAVI you can convert RMVB to dvd files and burn straight to DVD to watch in a dvd player

i fit about five 40min episodes to one 4.7GB disk. There are quite a few threads regarding winavi and conversion to dvd if you search around the forum

if your dvd player can play AVI or mp4 or something you can convert to that and probably fit a few more episodes on one disk

then, how come a lot of people use Nero more than WinAVI to burn things? is it cuz Nero burns with better quality or what?

WinAVI to convert the rmvb files to dvd (VOB), then u use a program like nero to burn the DVD files to a DVD disk

ye u use winavi to convert the video files into dvd format and then nero to burn onto the dvd disk. however, u could use nerovision to convert the files but the conversion is rele slow and the quality is about the same as winavi and i don't think u can fit as many episodes on one disk for some reason. but yea, burning five 40 min episode on a dvd is certainly fine and the quality remains at a high quality.

have u converted the video files yet? if u have then just go onto nero express and select dvd video and just choose the folder which winavi has created for the dvd after conversion of the video files.

You can, but the video quality will deteriorate after a certain number of episodes.

^ well no... i put 10 eps on a DVD and the quality is exactly the same as putting 5 eps on a DVD. I would put a guide on how to do it but i'm kinda lazy...

yes, I also tried burning 10eps onto a disk too. Quality exactly the same as burning 5 eps... Can't really tell... haven't burnt more than 10... don't want to try. hahahahas.

But this is a way I do it. RMVB files ---> use winavi to convert to dvd (vob) files then use dvdshrink (google and d/l it, it's free) to compress them and to fit onto a disk. Think need to have nero so then it automatic burns from dvdshrink to your dvd disk. :)

lol, 10 is enough for me... and the format was DVD-RMVB 'cos that series was only 20eps.. then 10 eps on each disk.. hahahahs.

hmm.. if i there's 25eps and not a dvd version .. you think 15 eps can fit onto a disk?
