Hi guys, im looking to buy a bike motorcycle. Im looking for a cheap one for around 5k AUD. what do i look for in a bike?eg. kms its done and etc. 250cc is the most power i can ride because im still new to riding. an0nymous.
should start with a 600. thats what i first bought but i started riding my friends 750. What u really want to look for first is to c if the bike is straight or not. meaning has it been in a accident b4, does it ride straight, all body work fits prefectly. how many miles/km is on the bike because usually around 20-25 thousand miles the engine usually will go. has the bike ever been abused like for stunting or whatever. also u want to check to make sure everthing is legit. make sure the frames vin matched the pink slip cause the seller might try to scam u.
I see. thanks. i cant get more then 250cc. coz 250cc is the limit for P-plate riders in Melbourne. i was told to go for 250CBR-RR or 150NSR. what u think?
r u more into cruisin or going on the twisties on a bike??? i myself i like to take the twisties. i say go for the 250cc. gives u a little better experience to rideing a higher cc bike. plus both r hondas and they can hang turns pretty good.
Im getting the CBR 250R for 4000. 15,000km done on it. A+ condition. so its are pretty good deal. btw. i had a typo it was between CBR 250 or 250 NSR. went for the CBR because its more a curise bike compare the NSR. 2 strokes cost to much to maintaince compare to 4 stroke. Cheers. Thanks mate.
lols that's one awesome bike. I actually saw someone riding down the street with a bright orange bike... it made me laugh and he gave me a look. As for motorbike advice, I think the engine is the most important of the bike. When my cousins bought their first bike, they got a crappy motor in favor of a sleek design and excellent mileage. Their bike soon retired and they went back to buy a new one.
