I never read any of the books (not much of a book person) but i did watch one of the films. Kinda do hate him because he just annoys me... I did read one of the LOTR books fully and that was good actually. The films I enjoyed too
I watched the 1st harry potter movie and hated it too.. i thought it was really poor and i fell asleep in the LOTR movies
^lol you should watch the extended versions of the LOTR movies! nah i thought the LOTR movies were good, at least better than harry potter

I don't know how people can like it, it's so unrealistic to the point it just seems like the author was high on dope (although of course, I do have great respect for JK Rowling, she is a very good writer, just can't click with her Harry Potter series). How are magic and creatures so exciting .... I don't understand. Kinda like Alice in Wonderland, where the author was really on some messed up shit while writing.
i have yet to read the books.. maybe if they came out with like a condensed version... lol... I get confused as it is watching the movies.. still dunno why it's so damn popular.. =/. JK Rowlings is like the Satoshi Tajiri of America...
the only reason why you find the movies confusing is b/c you haven't read the books. the movies leave out a lot of details. if you are interested, I suggest starting off with the books and then continue with the movies.

the films sucks, the books are okayish..that last book that came out..well...the ending was abit melodramtic...i could care less that harry would would die tbh. his death would mean many sad fans =) which a good wrap up this simple yet "magical" series o.o"
