all my life i've had problems falling asleep even when i'm tired it could take me over an hour to fall asleep and when i'm not tired it could take me several i think it might be genetic, becuase my sister has a the same problem but neither of my parents have this problem also, if anything disturbs my slumber, for more than a minute i can't fall back asleep so if i wake up and go back to sleep right away i'm fine but if someone comes into my room to tell me something if it's a short amount of time, i end up wide awake, and i can't fall back asleep without starting the whole cycle over again i already dont sleep enough as it is, and to lose more of that time because someone had to tell me to "remember to do . . . " i can say i have a very active mind, i can't stop thinking, i even think when i sleep i remember in a dream i was anaylizing someone's actions, and doing REAL math in another dream does anyone know of any non-medical ways of helping these sleeping problems?
I luv doing Real Math in my dream.... (However, the problem are always very easy and it doesn't help you for the actual exam) Also get's you pretty damn drain up the next morning as you feel like you been working 24/7... But they only happen before an exam... and all I can say the reason behind this comes from stress...
ya i can' sleep too...thats y i waste my time watching tv shows to sleep instead of doin homework..i would lie on my bad while on the computer to get me tired..if im not really tired i can't sleep
i do have an interesting though about the sex before marriage thing i've noticed that a lot more christians are open to this idea now especially parents i know several of my friend's parents and my own too, who are ok with there children having sex before marriage, even though the family is very christian some even encourage they move in with there partner, as a trial period before marriage my dad's rule was "no pregnacy before you graduate from school" and now that i have graduated and my dad has experianced his first grandchild from my sister two days ago, he told me (he was staying over night at my place) "you dont need to come home (and play host to us). Go and make a baby (that is how he has always refered to sex to me all my life)" i didn't know how to react, although he was joking around, i know he was half serious too, becuase he has been talking to me about becoming a mother a lot lately, but at the same time do note i'm only dating although he said this to me two days ago, he stayed over two nights, and this morning he woke me up to "WAKE UP, REMEMBER TO GO TO CHURCH" and he does this to me every weekend he stays over. If he stays over on a friday, on saturday morning he tells me to go back to bed if i wake up to say good morning to him but if it's a sunday, he's always knocking on my door, "wake up, dont forget to go to church"

exercise induces sleeping if your eating very rich foods, sleeping in the buff for some, keeping the blinds closed so no light gets in, try not taking any day time naps, following a set schedule for sleep, try some yoga, clear your mind or you'll never fall asleep. dont drink tea or coffee before u sleep if you do. but i would say if ur not feeling tired from the lack of sleep then its no big deal. if its happ[ening all your life could be just your hormones or body. if you feel it is affecting other parts of your body then consider medical checkups? just suggestions i unno. =/
well i have the same problem...sometimes.. but I found out how to fall asleep easily: you must "clear your mind". Stop thinking of anything, just close your eyes and COUNT SHEEPS ^^
don't they have sleeping pill ... there's a brand (which of course I can't recall now) that in their commercial explains how they have 2 layers, top layer to make u fall asleep and the bottom layer to make u stay asleep.
Drink a couple of beer and you fall flat on the floor (unless you're a good drinker)... No drugs usage... =)
Draw the curtain & put on ear plugs? I have trouble falling asleep when I am extremely stressed, it helps (for me at least). Also, if you have the habit of taking naps, stop that and it helps with your sleeping cycle.
hey you know. i used to be like you~ but now i m slightly better.. but i was diagnosed with a disorder.. so maybe you should check yourself out.. but anyways.. you should try aromas. mine is chamomile roman. it helps alot trust me. it gets everyone that past my room tired.. you should try it
i use to have the same problem, mainly with goin to bed...but now, i just sleep whenever i feel like it so i sleep in the afternoon and work at night....
i slept at 4 and work up at 915...i thoguth it was 345....and i can't go bak to sleep...i guess the bearutiful wearher woke me up
