yo walking with your hands in your pockets is dangerous. i know this guy that was doing that and he fell as he was stepping onto the escalator. and it was going up. his mouth matched up with the edge of the step and you can image the rest from there on

i prefer jacket pockets.. more roomy and they dont get in the way of your walking

unless you are wearing really baggy pants, once you put on hand in it gets pretty tight for the other one.

  7. that is an interesting observation that i have never really paid attention to before

partly crazy...well then....i tend to kill the hands in pocket fad....esp since my jeans are somewhat baggie and i can pull my hands out quickly if i need to react to anything....but i find i put my hands in my jacket pockets alot..since its winter n all..maybe i should get a pair of gloves...

yea man. you might want a pair of gloves. those are really good for the cold weathers. cuz when its cold and you move you hand in and out of your pockets, they tend to scratch the back of your hands. this is more so with jeans. and the cold tends to make this more painful. react to anything? i have never heard of a story where a guy was able to pull out his hands from his pants pockets in time to catch his fall. or anything that requires fast reactions

I always put my hands in my pockets. I think it's weird with my arms waving/swinging in the air. It's cool to have your hands in your pockets. It has this whole classy/incognito feeling. Just being so... Suave! yeah, that's the word... Suave.

yea it does feel awkward swinging your hands unless your walking fast. cuz then you need to pump those arms to get the momentum.

but sometimes when u have your hands in your pocket you feel so reserved and Timid... like your hiding from the world.

Iprefer the Thumb in the pocket technique... that way you have a place to secure your hands, but still have them exposed.

exactly moki, that is dangerous. and yes the thumbs in the pockets work really well. and also if you have your hands in your jeans, usually the pockets go down the front of the thigh. so wouldnt that force your shoulders to come forward. sort of like slouching? especially if you wear your pants low. even a little
