>.< problem: my hair isn't really the oily type so during the day it's pretty much tamed. but as the day goes on, my hair becomes oily especially at the scalpe. the only solution i have so far is that before i head out i nite i blow dry it and re-style it. but if i'm out all day i can't do that... anyone have a solution? anyone have the same problem?? THANKS!
I would suggest trying other shampoo and hair products. Since the hair shouldn't need a wash EVERY SINGLE DAY -- which was how I understood your situation.
Use dry shampoo. It really helps! I have the same problem as you. When I'm out for the whole day, my fringe area gets oily. So yeah, I use dry shampoo and it solves the problem. Its a spray that you can purchase at most chemist/pharmacy. Its a powdery spray that soaks the oil from your hair. You just need to spray it on the spots and then leave it for 2-3mins, then just use a brush and brush the powder off.
don't condition at the roots, only the ends. and only condition every other day. cause if u think about the it, the dead part of ur hair is the end and not the part closest to ur scalp. and when u brush, try not to overbrush at the roots cause it'll bring out the oil in ur scalp.
thx a bunch! i'm gonna give all those a try cause it's a real hassel when i'm out all day... thanks again!
no that's not really the problem, i try not to touch my hair. it happens even if it's tied up. it's my scalpe, i guess that jus gets oily during the day
I wash my hair every single day. Can't stand it when I don't. The problem is every time you wash your hair you secrete more oil to make up for what's lost. Good thing I have normal skin.
My hair get very dry and brittle if I wash it too much, specially in the cold (plus the snow and ice and rain added to the equation) >_<
since its slightly oily just dye your hair, choose some relatively more natural color for a slight tint dying really make its heaps drier atleast u won't have the oily problems but it probably only lasts abt 2-3months with a permanent dye before the dryness goes away, and oil starts to take over...
yup, it's true..dying ur hair does help. also, brushing with a brush instead of a comb will help distribute the oil throughout, away from the scalp.
washing does get rid of the oil, but it still damages the hair washing too much is actually pretty bad for it =/
