Saturday July 13, 2008 Hong Kong Hacken Lee (李克勤) attended a press conference yesterday to announce that his forthcoming concert, sponsored by Metro Radio and HSBC will take place on 24 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhbition Centre. To mark the event, HSBC presented Hacken with a Children's Education Trust Fund account as a gift for his son, Ryan. Hacken said that he will keep working hard to build up the fund for Ryan's future. Hacken revealed that he will also be releasing his new album to coincide with the concert and he will be collaborating with seven other musical talents for the album production, including Eason Chan (陳奕迅), Jaycee Chan (房祖明), Hins Cheung (張敬軒), Jan Lamb (林海峰), Justin Lo (側田), Khalil Fong (方大同) and Louis Cheung (張繼聰). He said that they are just waiting for Eason's contribution, which he will be performing as a duet with Jaycee. Another of Eason's songs will be performed opposite Louis and the lyrics will be sharing their feelings of fatherhood. Hacken said that it was quite an achievement to receive the co-operation of these artistes, who each have successful careers of their own, so he was very grateful to them. Asked about recent rumours that there has been an application for his Left Alan Right Hacken <左麟右李> concerts to take a slot at the Coliseum, when it re-opens after renovation next year, Hacken seemed very confused. He said that there are no plans for any such concerts as yet and as they are still unsure about the renovation progress at the Coliseum, then no decisions have been made.
