Hacken Lee (李克勤) and other fellow celebrities including Michael Tse (謝天華) and Natalis Chan (陳百祥-阿叻) all attended a football match held in honor and memory for HK Football legend Wu Kwok Hung (胡國雄) in Mong Kok today. Wu Kwok Hung was best known as "Big Head", playing as a midfielder for the Hong Kong First Division League, including Tung Sing, South China and Seiko. He led the HK Team into winning the infamous 1985 World Cup finals against China, 2-1. He passed away on 15th June, 2015 from laryngeal cancer, aged 66. Many of his loyal fans and supporters attended his memorial football match, in which some of the celebrities also played an honorary game in his name. ~~~ cred: mingpao
unfortunately, there aren't any well known HK or even Mainland soccer player these days, they all suck. Always heard older generation people talk about how great those teams back than were...hard to believe there were a time like that.
