Just got rid of my dog slow and spotty Cable company and replaced it with Verizon Fios when they finally linked my building with the fiber optic lines. Wow... what a difference. I tripled my speed and cut my cost by more than half... -cool:jump:headbang2-bigclap:D:punk::jump:

...AND got rid of my land line phone bill too...

Nice, I wish I could dump my comcast...unfortunately they're the only ones I can get, unless I want DSL which isn't as fast.

That's a damn shame. As soon as Verizon came into the picture, TWC automatically raised our max speed up 100% for "free" as an enticement to remain with them. But my service had always been spotty and these last few months were insufferable. I would go for days where one of my modems wouldn't pick up any signal at all. So in dumping TWC, I'm not only getting better speed, it is reliable. Not having competition sucks because they KNOW if they have you over a barrel, they'll have no incentive to do any better.

Comcast is the only residential carrier in my area... Even the next town over have FIOS. I'm still waiting (been 2 years!).. I envy you.

FIOS from verizon is awesome, too bad we are going to lose it next year when verizon focus on the east coast.
