    In Canada, they had this with the TD Bank (a big bank here), where if you switch your accounts over to TD, they give you a free Nano. . .

    Well, nanos are cheap anyways. . . IMHO, nothing real special about it

    i think its a rip off

    companies use Ipods to hook ppl in and once they r in, they would be fallen into the companies' traps

    ^ That's true. Mainly it's smaller banks (the TD Bank in Canada is one of the smaller of the big banks) to lure customers. There's lots of fine print. Most people fall for these stupid offers because they don't see 'long term', they only see 'now', which is the iPod in their hands.
