^ From a guy's POV, this is coming from one of my guy friend's who was being honest, guys don't give a **** about anniversaries. They think it's too trivial and there's already too much to remember like holidays and birthdays. So why should they bother with anniversaries? It's not like they'd have something silly like a wedding anniversary circled around a calendar. If you wonder why the "men forgetting annivesary" cliche is always used in the movies, it's because it's the truth. They don't give a darn. <_< Some guys care, but I don't think it means much for guys in general. It bothers me too, but what can we do? It's not really meaningful anymore when we have to drop hints to them every time.
I know what you girls mean! Sometimes, I corner my guy and ask him, on that day, if he knows it's our anniversary. He gets all guilty/embarassed and that's when I tell him he owes me a piece of expensive jewelry. lol It's funny...anytime he forgets, I always ask to be paid in jewelry/accessories. Course I never get it. Shit. hahah
