Gigi Lai Sacrafices Her Pretty Image for New Series

Gigi Lai's pretty girl image has always been visible,but in new series 《通天幹探》, she will be changing '180 degrees'. In the series, she will be acting as a big tooth, four-eyed girl. Gigi expresses that she doesn't mind acting as an ugly girl and hopes that there would be different 'Gigi Lais' in every series.

Yesterday Gigi began filming in Wongkwok and didn't look that different from far away. But Gigi has actually wore fake teeth to film. When she is talking, she has some difficulties, "I have already practiced for a while at home and I am getting used to it. But it does hurt a bit, but at least it doesn't affect my acting."

The producer said that he chose Gigi because she was just too perfect with her big eyes. So he changed her a bit by putting glasses and fake teeth on her.

Yep.. I liked her character in Healing Hands III.

I liked her character though. It was pretty interesting. & yes I thought that movie was boring also Not so suspenseful. Needed ALOT more action ^^;

Nice to know that Gigi is versatile and is accepting of roles. She doens't mind being an ugly character. This reminds me of Joey's character like someone above mentioned. Also reminds me of Angela Tong in Life Made Simple. Well, minus the glasses.
