im having trouble getting my nvidia card to run well. when there is a crap load of smoke or huge explosion i lag really bad. anyone know the problem? dual 8500gt 512mb i turned of zsync too and im still lagging. can anyone give me their settings for their card.
dual 8500GT and still having problems with CS.... CSS is usually good at automatically choosing the correct settings, so i doubt your running anything too high driver problem?
still i mean.. CS doesn't even require that high end of a graphics card... maybe a driver problem.. or maybe just a clean re-install of the game will help...
I doubt it.. and if the settings were too high.. then the whole thing would lag.. maybe not enough ram?? damn speaking of CSs.. I think imma see if anyones on...
Lets try handling this situation the way overclockers do it. First, please post your complete system specs.
and what game he is playing...something that is graphics intensive....problem solved lol...refund the game.
What game, graphics setting in game and in your cards panel, and what resolution? Remember, AA is an fps hog. Turn only AA off if you have it on and see how things go.
dude u can play css on like a GForce4. but yea maybe its drivers or you havnt tweaked your gfx card properly.
^The settings for CSS should be automatically chosen, if your still having lag problems turn either the resolution down or one of the settings to a lower one personally i dunno why, your dual 8500GT should be more than enough, my friend runs a radeon 9800 with a 3GHz P4 and its almost at max settings except AA is off try with only one gfx card maybe? or go to steam support and see what they have to say
