Most guys seem so carefree, and they never worry about anything. Plus I wouldn't have to give birth or worry about getting pregnant etc...
I'd totally want to be a guy if given the opportunity. No more spending money on buying tampons, pads, underwear, etc. I spend so much money every year just on shampoo & conditioner & tampons. It'd be awesome if I never have to deal with getting my period ever again. Oh shoot, and being able to piss anywhere without exposing your booty...how awesome is that?! *laff* Although I don't know how it's like to be a guy, I just feel like my life would be easier if I were guy than a girl. For one, I'm really independent, so there's no such thing as hero rescuing the damsel in distress thing. When in relationships, I often end up doing things for my boyfriends rather than them doing stuff for me. I certainly wouldn't mind not having those cramps, getting my period, getting pregnant, giving birth, etc. One thing I've noticed is that because I'm what most people consider 'mature' for my age, I have a hard time getting with guys who are my age, because they still want to play n stuff & are not really focused on school. If I were a guy, I wouldn't intimidate girls who are my age. Also, I wouldn't have to spend time putting on make up (to go to work), I'd save a load on not having to buy $30+ bras and what not...

lol...but the last time I checked, guys have to spend money on shampoo, conditioner, and underwear too! lol and i'm not sure what it's like wher you're staying, but in most of the world guys can't take a piss anywhere. i think there are only certain places where they are allowed to take a piss and in those cases they usually have to expose something too... anyway, i'm happy with being a girl . I think either gender male/female has it's disadvantage and advantage. for example, guys are always supposed to do the 'asking out', act gentlemanly, ect ect. so being a guy isn't all that great. but like you said, i wouldn't mind never getting my period ever agen either! lol it can be sucha drag sometimes..
I know that guys need to buy shampoo, conditioner, and underwear, but on average, girls would spend more money since most girls have long hair. Since typically, guys have shorter hair, they need not condition it as much. As for underwear, I was referring to bras & replacement undies from period stains. I know guys don't have to buy bras...at 30+ a pop, they can buy 10 of the hanes undershirts/wifebeaters. Yes, guys can't legally take leaks anywhere they wish, but if nobody is watching, they can just whip it out & take a leak. Girls, on the other hand, can't take leaks anywhere they want without exposing their booties & having to go through the pain of squatting down & what not. Besides, guys don't have to take their pants OFF to take a leak... you know what I mean? And, guys aren't the only ones who are expected to do the 'asking out'. A lot of girls I know have done the asking out on numerous occasions...nowadays, it's quite normal.
Guy. One pair of shoe can last for years. Haircut and underwears are cheap. And we are able to focus on career even after marriage, but of course the world needs both male and female =)
i would choose to be a PRETTY girl. -lol seriously though, pretty girls have so many benefits! I mean first, let's talk about girls vs guys first of all in terms of social pluses. guys chase girls, rite? so its guys who usually give the girl rides and pays for dinner and dates. so in other words, the girl can be poor but still manage to have fun going out if there is a guy courting her. also at social events like clubs or parties, girls usually get free cover. This is because guys go to clubs that have lot of females there. and the clubs know that the best way to attract males is to first attract the females by providing them free cover charge. also in terms of getting jobs in professional fields like engineering, girls have it easier. Engineering firms are sooo dominated by males that they desperately want to hire female engineers even if the female engineer isn't as qualified as their male counterparts. and the law also benefits females. guys are forced to support his long-term gf or divorced wife (guys are forced to make the girl sign pre-nump agreement if they dont want the girl to get half his assets during a divorce). but back to the pretty girl part. all those benefits i mentioned above are magnified if ur an attractive girl. we all know that lot of guys are suckers for pretty faces. the pretty girl gets all the attention. during the courting phase, lot of guys go after her so she has the option to be picky. and not to mention all the free dates and rides she's getting. so even if ur a poor girl, as long as u r physically attractive, there's bound to be guys with money who will chase after u and support u. so it seems to me that pretty girls have it the best in today's society... which therefore, is why I'd choose to be a woman in my next life. lolz oh, and i also agree with what the guy above me said
As you said, usually, it's no cover for girls... I've never heard of a club that has no cover for 'pretty' girls and cover for the 'ugly' girls... it's all girls. So it really makes no difference whether you're hot or not. Then, whatever firm that hires a person who is not qualified for the position is just waiting to go out of business. Gender does not come into play when it comes to hiring decisions. If a woman makes more than a man, and the couple gets divorced without a pre-nuptial agreement, the woman will, most likely, have to pay alimony to the man. Whoever makes more pays... you are under the assumption that a man will always make more than a woman... and that is incorrect. Disadvantages of being a pretty girl - people like YOU will always go & assume that she's got something because of her looks and not because of her own abilities or intellect.
I'd rather be a guy. they seem to have it easier. Lucky dudes, no PMS.. no dealing with the stupid bitchy girls that can't seem to stop picking on the "less fortunate" No needing to go through with physical pregnacy.. yup. but there are probably drawbacks to being a guy, but at the moment I'm not sure as to what they are. @ shy, that is sooooooo not true. for engineering jobs i know for a fact that they were primarily looking for females because i know some ppl in HR. like it or not, fair or not, sexist or not, there is no such thing as equality. obviously for the club cover charge it doesn't matter if ur pretty or not. but in terms of getting attention, free meals, and rides and what not, pretty girls have huge advantage.

There seems to be a disconnect in your argument. If pretty girls get all the jobs and what not, then why are most of the top executives in this world men??? Shouldn't the pretty women be getting all the top jobs and earning all the top money, regardless of their ability? I'm not an engineer or anything, but both my dad and older brother are, so I think I know what I'm talking about. Plus, my sister works at an insurance company, & I can tell you that she's done her fair share of hiring and interviewing. And when she's looking to hire somebody, their looks never come into play nor does their gender. If she feels that they are competent and a quick learner, then she will give a good recommendation... no matter how hot or unhot that person is. As an enterprise risk manager, I know that if companies are hiring solely based on a person's gender or ethnicity, then they are waiting for a lawsuit. As for the cover charge... if guys didn't flock to where the women are in hopes of getting some, there would be no disparity in cover charges. Mind you, I'm pretty sure it's the men who are setting this up. In chinese, this is called 'jee jawk jee sau.' You bring it on to yourself. And to reiterate - the biggest disadvantage of being an attractive woman is that people like you will never believe that they get what they have based on their abilities and intellect. If a hot girl were driving a Mercedes, would you assume that she got a good deal from Mercedes just because she's hot? Or, if a hot girl were a big shot lawyer who's never lost a trial, would you think that she's never lost a trial because the jurors buy into her hotness? Your case is weak... almost bitter.
