"Four Heavenly Kings" Now All on Avenue of Stars
Three of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Cantopop gathered at Hong Kong's Victoria Harbor on Wednesday, for the ceremony which honored their joining the Avenue of Stars, a Hong Kong version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok, and Leon Lai joined fellow stars Sylvia Chang and Sean Lau to win the honor.
The other "Heavenly King," Andy Lau, is already a star on the avenue.
The "Four Heavenly Kings" are all active crossover singers and actors, and have been leading Hong Kong's entertainment scene since the early 1990s.
The Avenue of Stars, located along the Victoria Harbor waterfront, honors celebrities from the Chinese film industry.
Around 80 film stars, including Maggie Cheung, Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Tony Leung and Stephen Chow, have been featured since its opening in 2004.
