Well here’s a reason to ramp those expectations up a notch – as the first trailer for the forthcoming film is here. Yes we’ve seen shots from the set, we’ve seen poster images of Jamie Dornan smouldering as Christian Grey – and we’ve even had Beyonce getting in on the act with a titillating Instagram clip posted earlier this week. But now you have the chance to see actual footage from the actual movie, giving us the first real idea of the onscreen chemistry between Dornan and co-star Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele. And the two-minute clip suggests there will be enough of that to go around – as the pair flirt their way through a series of encounters before things finally get steamy. Oh and this happens: The trailer hints that fans of the book wanting onscreen steam will not be disappointed (Picture: YouTube) Yes, there’s fleeting glimpses of some of the racier material from EL James’ best-seller – although those expecting a sizzling page-for-page re-enactment may well be disappointed, following reports the sex scenes have been toned down for the screen. A source previously admitted: ‘It’s less racy than the book,’ while those who viewed early footage of the film back in March declared it ‘surprisingly tame’, with suggestions that the focus was more on romance than raunch. You’ll still have to wait a while to see the full movie, as Fifty Shades Of Grey isn’t due for release until Valentine’s Day 2015.
