Hi! I was wondering what kinds of skincare products you all use. I'm going to HK in a while and I would like to buy a lot of skincare/cosmetic products I have a combination/dry skin so oil-free moisturizers would be perfect for me. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks!~
my skin is oily and i'm currently using beautician recommended 'exuviance'...ok for the 1st few months but only maintained in the following months..no improvement... have u heard of skinfood? it's quite popular in malaysia and my friend has the same type of skin as urs...she said skinfood products are ok and sweet smelling....i've tried their sake moisturizer and pore refiner sample and it's soothing...
I dont have really oily skin, but I use Reviva Labs Oily Skin Moisturizer Gel, and I love it..-blush2
I find most of Dermalogica's products is good and gentle on my skin. Especially since I got very sensitve skin. Also Lancome has some nice products too.
philostrate: Yes I've heard of Skinfood, I think it's also available in HongKong Maybe I'll give it a try! I've tried so many brands (H20+, Clinique, Biotherm, Laneige, Sisley etc......) but they all worked for a couple of months...... after that, my skin just starts to get dry and oily in the t-zone T_T
I use Shisedo's day and night cream everyday. I think it very good. They have different types of cream that will work for your particular skin types.
I was thinking, since skin tend to get lazy if you use the same moisturizer for a long time, has anybody ever tried to use two (or more) different brands of moisturizers at the same time? Like for example monday, wednesday, friday and sunday Biotherm and the other days Clinique. Wouldn't it be the same theory as in when you use your perfume for too long, you won't smell it anymore?
^Good idea, I have never thought of that... But generally, I dun like to stick to one brand for good. I like to explore.. hehe Some people can't afford to do that tho because of extra-sensitive skin.
I have heard of that before.. I was told that you should alternated it every two weeks.. Alternating daily wont give you the results you want, because you're not giving the product time to work..results usually dont happen over night lol so about two weeks, then change to the other product you had in mind.
