Ok i guess this should go under fashion since there's no career orientented forum... so here's my dilemma. I'm heading to HK for an accounting job for the summer and i don't know what kind of work clothes i should wear especially in such hot weather. any ideas? suggestions? Thanks! -innocent
what everyone else there is wearing. jk aside you may want to get there first and then take a look at the work fashion in the stores. Chances are you can't go wrong with what you pick then and there. Don't bother to buy before you go to HK. You'll have more choices and sometimes at a better price.
try going with a skirt not too short not too long like knee length and a blouse it will be fine if its not a crazy big company and they dont really mind your dress code go with a pair of khakis and a normal button shirt... it will be fine thats how most ppl i see dress anyways
Yea definitely buy clothes in HK. I find their clothes to be thinner for the hot summer. You should be able to find stuff at Giordano or G2000.
A dress shirt with pencil skirt. If you can afford it, U2 Women got some really nice stuff for a "local" brand -- otherwise G2000 and Giordano is okay too. I used to like Vertical club and Suzuya, but the design has changed and become too street wear so no :(
wear light khakis or slacks and a dress shirt. these are usually very light clothing. but bring like a jacket cuz there is ac in the work place.
