Thursday November 22, 2007 Hong Kong Fala Chen (陳法拉) took part in a Christmas event at MegaBox today, where she wore a festive red dress and joined the audience for some fun and games. When she spotted a cute baby wearing reindeer antlers, she naturally approached the child and played with him, showing her softer side and maternal instincts. Fala is currently busy filming for TVB series Thieves With Principles <盜亦有道>, but she hopes to some time off over Christmas to go and see her family back in America. She said that it has been a year and a half since she last saw her family at home. She said that every year, she will buy gifts and wrap them herself for her friends and family and this year is no different. Asked what she has bought for her parents, she said that she will not spend too much because it is all about the joy. Asked if she will be giving up the chance to make more money by taking Christmas off, Fala said that you cannot put a price on spending time with your family. Asked if she will be buying a gift for Bernice Liu (廖碧兒) after recent rumours of their animosity, she laughed that it would be a good idea and she will have to think about what to buy. Fala looks very cute there. I think in this industry, there's hidden jealously and rivals all around you...and little things you do on the set could upset the other celebrities...
For a beginner her acting is pretty good...and I don't really think she is a native cantonese speaker btw..so it's pretty dramatic...anyways...she needs to spend less time with her family and more time with ME on xmas lols.. shes too hot.
