According to exclusive news received by Oriental Daily News, it is reported former TVB actress, Fala Chen (陳法拉), is getting married on May 11th in France, to her French boyfriend, Emmanuel Straschnov, after dating for three years. It is said the wedding will be at a romantic manor in France and only nearest and dearest are invited. The 37 year old actress was previously married in 2013 to Neway heir, Daniel Suek (薛世恒), who is often mistaken for TVB actor, Benjamin Yuen. Fala Chen took a big risk when she left TVB and her career in Hong Kong in 2014 and went to Juilliard in New York to study acting for four years. Her gamble paid off because she is currently filming an upcoming HBO series , “The Undoing,” with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant. In 2016, she met Emmanuel in New York and was said to be love at first sight. Their relationship wasn’t revealed to the public until half a year later. Fala Chen had once said Emmanuel was charming and that their personalities meshed well together. While she might be career oriented, Fala Chen had once mentioned she loves children and has plans to have kids. As for Emmanuel, he is currently the founder and CEO of a platform called “Bubble.” He has a MBA from Harvard Business School. After graduating, he once worked at the French Consulate in Japan. In 2007, he once worked as a consultant at a company in Shanghai for three years. He later worked in the US as an executive assistant.
