I would cleanse first cause it will help soften/moisten the skin to exfoliate better. then follow with something to close up the pores and then moisturizer.
i never cleanse and exfoliate in one setting because i think that's overdoing it. i usually exfoliate 2-3 times a week in the morning when i shower and before i apply makeup and then cleanse at night.
Used to cleanse then exfoliate until i had a skincare consultation and they told me I should exfoliate first to open the pores etc for the cleanser to work properly.
wow i think i just learned something here...cleanse first then exfoliate. I always just use either one for the night/morning O_O
LOL No, but I would use paint thinner to get rid of blue paint (exfoliate) and then paint it (clean) I agree with a couple users, cleaning/exfoliating is too much for your skin.
i always cleanse and exfoliate on different days never together. its to much on the skin.. might cause irritation
I like to exfoliate at night so that my skin will have a good 8 hours to rejuvenate before makeup in the morning. If I had makeup on that I need to get off, I may use a really gentle cleanser then exfoliate. Otherwise, if no makeup that day, just exfoliate.
