Wednesday October 31, 2007 Hong Kong The Hong Kong Performing Artistes' Guild held a Halloween Ball today totalling 34 tables. Chairman Eric Tsang (曾志偉) revealed that they will be holding an auction to raise money for the guild and so far from ticket sales, $1 million had already been raised. Other events for the evening included performances from singers, party games, awards for the best fancy dress costumes and generally having a lot of fun. Many of the artistes attending the ball arrived in Halloween costumes, with Eric and Yu On On (余安安) leading the way as Jack Skellington and Sally, from the film The Nightmare Before Christmas. Wan Kwong (尹光) was dressed as a paper doll, Stella Ng (吳浣儀) arrived as the Empress Dowager, Rain Li (李彩華) dressed up as a mummy and other characters included maids, Sailor Moon, ghosts, princesses, devils, nuns, brides, criminals and police officers. Tommy Yuen (阮民安) and Elanne Kong (江若琳) dressed as a ghoulish doctor and nurse, enacting a rather gory scene where he stabbed a baby doll with a knife and pulled out a bloody heart. Eric was almost unrecognisable in his eight inch high shoes and skeleton make-up, but he still managed to dance with Sonija Kwok (郭羨妮). He laughed that this was a high point in his lifetime and he had never experienced seeing everyone from that height before. Sonija was dressed in a white Latin Dance costume and she performed some routines with Carlo Ng (吳家樂). Asked if she was afraid of revealing herself in her skimpy costume, Sonija said she had taken precautions and she was safe, so she was not worried. This was the first Halloween event that Sonija had attended this event with the guild, but she said that she has not yet signed up as a member. Asked about the rumours linking her with her manager recently, Sonija said that she found the reports amusing and felt that everyone knows what the truth is. Rain's mummy costume revealed her waist and her legs, making her very eye-catching. After her skirt was pulled off last year by Eric, when she was dressed as Cleopatra, Rain said that if Eric played around with her again this year, she would not let him get away with it. credits: batgwa.

i just read about this news on another newspaper, lol it said that because Eric Tsang wants to have a positive image with Sonija Kwok (in the special episode of 'FOODIE 2 SHOES', Eric Tsang spill out milk tea to Sonija, if you watched that part.), he's trying to be nice during that event by holding her waist while taking photos. Sonija felt awkward because she's wearing a sexy little dress.
