Both individuals were each embroiled in their own separate cheating scandals, as a result both were put on indefinite hiatus by TVB and have yet to fully earn the public's forgiveness and turn their images around. Earlier reports stated TVB is due to air Jacqueline Wong's (黃心穎) drama "The Offliners" next year suggesting that she had a chance to return back fully however it was revealed that TVB has "given up" on Jacqueline and is due to end her contract soon in the next two months. This will be Jacqueline's farewell drama. When asked whether she felt relieved or reluctant regarding the contract news and if her career was going in a new direction, Jacqueline only replied with a short message: "When there's an update, I'll let everyone know. Thank you for everyone's concern." Meanwhile, Jackson Lai (黎振燁) has been using the hiatus in taking care of his son, he was due to be the 3rd male lead in the new drama Boxing King《拳王》with Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) and Owen Cheung (張振朗) but has been replaced with Hugo Wong (黃子恆). TVB has also decided to end his contract, Jackson has yet to respond to this. TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲) admitted that both artists were taking unpaid leave and stated that she has been busy and has yet to talk to the two of them. ~~~ source: oriental daily
