Emotional triggers cause a sudden change in mood... YOu could be spectacularly happy one moment but then something makes you completly down...

My emotions are triggered when I hear music that could really affect my mood for the day. Sometimes, even, when someone is very emotional at one moment, I tend to be like that too. Emotions of most people are pretty infectious
