Hey, anyone follow the election that just ended like an hourish ago?

    Another minority government (sigh)....

Who did you vote for? Are you happy with the results?

Oh, and us asians were well represented this time -cool
-Olivia Chow (NDP) elected for the first time in Trinity-Spadina riding
-Raymond Chan (LiB) re-elected in Richmond riding

There might be other asians who also won, but these are all I know.

Anyways, the big thing is - it's finally over (for now... -noclue )! No more stupid ads on TV, an end to news programs and newspapers talking/writing non-stop about election crap, death to the signs and posters littering our yards...

Now, hopefully the new Conservative government will finally do something real! -lol

  2. nice! no more martin its time for change in canada and the ndp seems to have taken like 9 more seats then they did last time. good stuff

Yeah, that's crazy. They should have nullified this vote. And Harper saying stuff like " It's time the west of Canada got a prime minister out there". That's lot of bull. You don't vote for somebody because he was born in your town. You are supposed to vote for a programm.
I don't want to believe that people in Alberta voted for the tory because Stephen Harper comes from Calgary but I think this can be suspicious.
I voted. I don't really know what minority gouvernement means but if it is so that the others will try to put stick in the wheels of some dumb ideas the tory might have, I'm all for it.
I can continue a long long time like that, but I'll stop. You guys all know that conservative means less social . less welfare benefit .....
