Yesterday Ekin in his capacity as ambassador for the Neighborhood Association, attended a charity walk event. Ekin said he felt that when an actor has extra time one should give back to the community, and undertake charity work. He indicated that over Christmas he will be in Japan to film an advertisement for a brand new product, however he was not a liberty to discuss it. he said that he only just got the news and he was very excited. Ekin has been in the entertainment industry for 20 years, the grand total of his box office receipts add up to 5th highest of the male leading roles. Ekin was very happy. Recently though, Ekin returned to film a TVB drama, he said that though subject matter was a risk, it has turned out well. He said he would return home in the new year, as after his work he intends with his girlfriend and other friends to take a vacation.
