Edwin Siu (蕭正楠) and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) returned to Hong Kong yesterday after vacationing in Japan. Both looked very relaxed, and Priscilla was radiant even without any makeup on. When asked about the reason behind the trip, the couple said they wanted to take a break from work and recharge for the new year. Priscilla then refuted reports that the vacation was an act of reconciliation by Edwin, who had romantic rumors with co-star Jinny Ng (吳若希). Priscilla laughed, saying that she had long forgotten the gossip. However, the vacation was suggested by Edwin, who preferred a no-frills holiday which did not require extensive planning. Edwin added that they had also tried to shop for Priscilla’s dress for the 48th TVB Anniversary Awards ceremony, which will be held on December 15. However, due to TVB’s rumored demotion of Priscilla, she has little hope of receiving an award despite the nomination. Edwin is not worried, and believes TVB would be fair in handling such matters. Priscilla admits that she is content with the nomination and would not dwell on her chances in winning the TV Queen award, as there are strong competitors this year.
