Sunday November 11, 2007 Hong Kong Hollywood stars Christian Bale and Morgan Freeman are in Hong Kong at the moment, filming on location for the highly anticipated film The Dark Knight, which is due to be released in July 2008. A press conference was held on Friday, where the stars joined director Christopher Nolan to introduce their plans before commencing the shoot in Central. The director also asked the press to give them some space during filming and to refrain from seeking interviews during the shoot. A familiar face was spotted as the cast and crew filmed at The Center on Queen's Road Central yesterday, when Infernal Affairs 2 <無間道2> star Edison Chen (陳冠希) made an appearance in a scene with Morgan. It would appear that Edison is making quite a name for himself in Hollywood circles after performances in The Grudge 2 and Shrek the Third and so has also landed a role in this instalment of the Batman series. credits: batgwa.
that's pretty cool. i guess edison isn't letting maggie q get all the jobs. they both started in the HK industry at the same time! anyone remember Gen Y cops? hehe
he did the voice overs for one of the characters.....when those cartoon films get brought over ...HK usually does their own voice overs... in chinese.....so they can sell it to chinese viewers.
lol i thought he was in the American version of Shrek the Third, but edison is a pretty silent actor in most of his movies, to make a name in hollywood and be chinese and not a action oriented star, that would be kinda hard, gotta have like ultra good acting skills which i don't think edison has yet.

i was also bit shocked when i read he was in shrek well good for him anyway i guess more chinses ppl are goin in the hollywood these days
i thought he was gonna be helping in producing the movie.......my bad.........wonder what role he is going to get? hope it won't be a minor one
well whatever role he has, he better just speak speaking chinese. It would ruin it, if he started speaking...or attempting to speak english....that would ruin batman for me.
