E.U. (Emergency Unit) - 學警狙擊 effect

    there is this certain effect that the show uses at the end of ever episode
    they freeze the sceen and put this effect on it

    i attached an example

    anyone know how i can do this?

    If I had to do that I would: (Each step with a new layer)
    1) Use a black grunge brush and paint over it
    2) Apply horizontal red/black gradient overlay
    3) Soft Black Brush and paint on the sides, overlay

    I might try that effect when I wake up

    but u just need to make the middle a bit lighter so u can see through it :p
    i havent photoshopped in ages so ive forgotten how to do all the effects and stuff ><

    but i was only showing another example

    cause it was an epic image, lol i just finish watching the series at that moment
