The latest Chinese buzzword to take the Internet by storm is “little fresh meat” (xiǎo xiān ròu, 小鲜肉), a slang word to describe a man who is young, good-looking, and fit. Feeling nostalgic, action star Donnie Yen (甄子丹) decided to share some of the pictures he took when he was only 17 years old, while he was training with the wushu team in Beijing during the late 80’s. Donnie reminisced the days when he trained with the world-renowned Beijing wushu team when he was only a teenager. Donnie showed off his flexibility, balance, and skill in the photos; his success as a mixed martial artist was definitely earned through years of perseverance and hard work. The 52-year-old wrote, “This 17-year-old little fresh meat has now become old dried meat. When I was seventeen… looking back to those years again!” Netizens and fans disagreed with Donnie’s comment about being old dried meat. Many cheered that Donnie has become even more suave with age, exclaiming “Dried meat that tastes good!” Creds: Oncc
