hey guys is me again being myself n bored, just got really tire from finals okay so spring semester is coming up and im moving out of the dorms! time to get a dog! but i want a small dog that will never grow big, and dont bark alot any suggestions? im looking at a daschund and a yorkie which is better!? be specific if you have other suggestions thanks!
although the breed has a lil to do with how much it barks, how active it is etc etc in the end, its like people, each and every one are unique u can't just know which one is "better" its all a matter of preference plus u can look into crossbreds, as pure is hell expensive these days i've got pomeranians, malteses, pomeranian cross malteses, chihuahuas heeheh they're all quite small, each are different =) keep in mind the fluffier dogs take a lot more maintenance!
eg u have a dog thats a pure pomeranian u have a 2nd dog thats a pure maltese wen they breed, teh puppy is a "cross" aka "mix" of the two therefore it'll have certain features of the first dog, along with some of the second all down to genetics =)
i say go to the pound and save a dog from the kilms get an older dog cuase that way you know what size they will grow up to be and you can see if they become hyperactive creatures when they have grown up look for a lazy one that will ensure a more quiet dog
well in the end it also depends where ur moving out to if ur staying in apartment, then u mite as well forget abt it i'd say poor dog to get locked up in apartment with no1 there
some shitzu's are cuteeee well i love most dogs ehehhe plus prelude, at the end of the day, the pet is there for COMPANY and its like a relationship theres give and take no dog stays cute forever thats for sure plus u said u wanted dog cos ur lonely etc, u didn't want one for looks, its not like ur gonna date one or nething lol

i have two pomeranians myself, they are known to bark alot but my dog don't bark at all. i bring them everywhere and no one ever notice theres a dog around because they are so quiet. so it really depends on the breeder. i do suggest if your looking for a dog, please please please don't buy from a store, cause most of the stores get their dogs from puppy mills and by buying from a store your supporting puppy mills. look for a reputable breeder around your area, thats where i got my 2 dogs and research on the breeder.
