Dodo and Lui Fong have split up amicably after 16 years together. Dodo disclosed that they have discussed their separation a few times. They left each other in a peaceful term. Dodo stressed that even though they are not together, they are still friends. Lui Fong had already moved out of Dodo's apartment in Repulse Bay. He becomes a bachelor again. There have been reports about their relationship problems before, but they have denied it each time. Dodo told reporters Lui Fong gave her roses and even cooked for her on her birthday in September this year. When the news broke out that they were splitting, their friends were very surprised. They tried to guess what happened between them. There was suggesting that Lui Fong wanted to get married before he is 50. When he was interviewed before, he gave the impression that he would be with Dodo till they get old. They never argued and they always discuss things together. Speaking about marriage, Liu Fong said let nature takes its course, but Dodo just wanted to live with him and not marry him. 51 years old Dodo had 2 long relationships. In the 80s she was with Kam Kwok Leung (甘國亮) for 10 years. When they broke up, they described their love relationship as "love without sex". Dodo started dating Lui Fong in 1992. Although they are not married, they lived together as husband and wife openly. Although there were reports about their relationship problems, they attended an event together to prove their relationship was still stable. On the 12th of September, they went to George Benson's concert together. That was the last function the two attended together. It was reported that Dodo herself made a phone call to a reporter to announce their break up. She stressed that there is no hard feelings between them and they are still friends. HOLY SHIT .. I am not sure whether it's because she's not photogenic or something but she appeared UGLY and OLD on the very first pic. She looks fine on television. Is it the make-up that's covering up the wrinkles?? Hmmm .. she's good with her work and what does that gonna get her the end without a family or anyone close to share her successes with. Anyway, I think it's time to hang with her own crowd and let loose of David Lui who's so much younger than her.
i know .. poor guy .. who could've have a beautiful family by now ... if they split up after all these years, you kinda wonder if it was really "incompatibility" or simply $$ issues. cuz women tend not to mention their age but dodo kinda reference that to reporter that she wants peace now ... ahh... thinking dog loves cat was her last straw to save the relationship if david succeed but it was a FLOP. i think as a celebrity like dodo, successful kind, it's hard to have a failed guy clinging behind .. and i believe david got the drama role though dodo as well cuz he's out of the limelight for ages.

Can't believe they've split up, they were such a solid couple. I can remember dodo previously stating she doesn't believe in marriage so that might have played a part in the break up.
