LOL I dunno my neighbours, I live on a main road so its not nice and friendly as a private/out the way road. Last time I saw my next door neighbours they were being thrown to the floor by the police and arrested -ohmy
Umm...i have a apartment of my own because of school and all i can say is that its kinda ghetto. you have bums sitting on the steps of our stairway. Old lady digging through our trash for cans. My neighbors are always getting high smoking that chronic. A police car is always parked nearby. Its basically like living in the dorms. Plus since i live right across the street from campus and close to the downtown area. it gets pretty rowdy especially on Thursday nights when fools get out of the bars and clubz.
Okay, my 'hood is straight up ghetto. Only upside about it is that it's super close to where I work, and the rent is really affordable. It takes me about 30-45 minutes to get to school, though. Anyway, situated down the block is a bodega (deli) that burned down years ago. When it was around, it sold drugs to little kids. Across the street from the bodega is a taxi & limo company that picks up and drops off hookers. Lots of asian & hispanic dudes all over the place just standing around smoking, gawking at the girls who walk by, or just doing nothing. Lots of cars driving around, no matter what hour of the day it is. The apartments in this neighborhood aren't run down or anything. People pretty much just keep to themselves. The house right across the street from where I live used to be a crackhouse. After many years of changed owners, normal people are finally living in it. All of the houses on that side of the block have nice gardens in the front, a porch, and some stairs. In the back of the apartment that I live in, there are grapevines and fig trees. One of my next-door neighbors is Colombian. He has 2 sons, and the older son is the BIGGEST sweetheart on the planet. The other neighbor is Italian. He helps the owner of the house across the street keep up with the gardening on that block. There are lots of shopping centers and food courts around the area, and most of them are vietnamese. Nearest mall is about a 15 minute drive. In a few months though, I'll be moving in with a friend of mine. She lives in the 90210 (beverly hills) area.
My neighborhood, is a .... bubble. It's protected from all the horrors of the world, rapists, gangs, poverty. mhmm. Course, the bubble doesn't block out fights, drugs, and teen pregnancies and stuff. Bubbles are permeable. It's the rich kid neighborhood. It's all : O.O You live there! Man! You're loaded. To the "outsiders" P-town's all man, you freaking lucky. to the "natives" its all nothing ever happens in P-town.
I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood , mostly white a few asians (one Korean and 2 indian families) - next to a Police station - 5 Min from a leisure centre and supermarket. - parks and woodlands nearby .
