Denise Ho Wants To Develop Newcomers With Potential

CRHK's Yet Another 10th Anniversary Of The Return Concert <又一個叱吒十年回歸音樂會> will be held on 01 December 2007 at AsiaWorld Expo. A press conference was held today, where the performer line-up was announced, including Eason Chan (陳奕迅), Joey Yung (容祖兒), Denise Ho (何韻詩) and Leo Ku (古巨基). The four singers were present to lend their support to the promotion.

Other singers confirmed for the show are Andy Hui (許志安) and Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅).

Joey appeared at the event dressed in a bright pink outfit and she explained that this was requested by the organisers and laughed it would help boost her popularity. A fortune teller has said that people born in the year of the monkey will find love this year, but Joey said she will only look for a good man and does not mind if he is boring because she can brighten him up a bit. When it was suggested that this man would be very lucky, Joey laughed that he might find her annoying and she might drive him crazy.

Eason has been rehearsing hard recently for his forthcoming concert and he has also been taking nutritional foods to help with his voice. He arrived a little late at the event and explained that he was waiting for his wife to make him his special soup. Eason has lost 8 lbs since he started his concert preparations and asked what his target is, he said that his aim was just to lose some weight so he was more light-footed on stage. He said that he will be taking an hour and a half to two hours out every day to dance or trampoline every day to keep his fitness levels and flexibility up in the future. When the reporters told him to be careful on stage following his earlier accident, he said that these things are sometimes just destined to happen.

Denise revealed that she has plans to start a company to develop newcomers in the music industry. She said that she hopes to have her own brand in the next ten years and she recalled the time in her own youth when she took the brave step of writing to Anita Mui (梅艷芳) asking if she could become her student. As a result, she understands the feelings of her fans and she would like to seek out people with potential and develop them. Asked if she would need a lot of money to invest, Denise said that she did not have too much at the moment, but she has a lot of enthusiasm and will work hard to save up. She indicated that a seven-figure sum should be enough. She added that she does not know whether or not she will have children, so she will treat her students as her children and put a lot of time and energy into developing the next generation.
