The producer of "Death By Zero" has denied speculations that Ali Lee's screentime in the series has been cut short due to her previous controversy.

As reported on Singtao Daily, producer Joe Chan, who spoke about the series recently, assured fans of the actress that no adjustment has been made by him and his team prior to screening.

"I handed over the finished product to TVB after all the editing and they made the decision on when to release the drama, so on that part, I really don't have any say," he said.

Joe stressed that Ali is still the lead actress in the drama, unlike what the rumour wants you to believe.

Speculations that Ali's scenes were cut and her character reduced to a supporting role was fuelled again recently, after it was reported that TVB has removed her from the upcoming drama, "Children's Hospital".

The actress was previously rumoured to have been forced to go on a hiatus by TVB for indirectly expressing support for the Hong Kong independence movement - an allegation that she has repeatedly denied.

Lame, she's probably only denying it cause she wants to act and do a good job, too bad she can't express her true feelings. I don't think her scenes have been cut though, she's in it plenty enough.

  3. They tried to eliminate her in the trailers
