Review: One year and eight months after Exclusive Code, Singapore singer-songwriter Yida Huang is finally releasing his third album The Grand Finale. The album name embodies the talented singer's high standards for himself and his desire to give a complete, perfect performance. In order to deliver an album that completely represents his music, he took on the role of producer for the first time. Yida Huang first caught the attention of the music industry with his work on the Sound of Colors soundtrack, and now for The Grand Finale, his musical concept is that of a film score, hoping that listeners will find their own film through his music. Like his previous releases, this album consists mostly of Yida Huang's own compositions, including title song The Grand Finale. Fans who enjoyed such hits as She Told Me and "Blue Sky" can look forward to more ballads and rock tracks in the singer's signature husky voice. The album also includes songs written by his teachers Peter and Paul Lee and good friend Alan Ke.
