Those who grew up in Hong Kong in the 1970s definitely remember The Wynners, a band formed by Alan Tam, Kenny Bee, Bennett Pang, Danny Yip, and Anthony Chan. While Alan Tam, Kenny Bee, and Bennett Pang continued their careers as solo singers after The Wynners disbanded, the other two members also had a prominent career in Hong Kong's showbiz. Loved by old and young music lovers alike, they have been in the music scene for over three decades, or to be more specific, 33 years. Reason enough for the band to launch a concert tour for the Chinese Lunar New Year season in 2007. The Wynners opened their concert with a 20-minute medley consisting of their well-known up-tempo songs. Each band member offered some solo performances, and as a band they also sang quite a few of their popular pieces. Eric Kot of Soft Hard Kids showed up as guest. The concert reached its climax when they treated fans to the concert's theme song titled "33 Turns" (Disc 2 - Track 9), a song referencing to vinyl records while commemorating the 33rd anniversary of the band.
